We start our trip with the scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and then we start trekking from Lukla. Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441m): 5 hours
Day 05: Rest and Acclimatization day at Namche
Day 06: Trek from Namche to Tyangboche Monastery (3860m): 5 hours
Day 07: Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4350m): 6 hours
Day 08: Hike to Chhukung Valley (4710m) and return back to Dingboche: 4 hours
Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m): 5 hours
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5365m) and back to Gorakshep: 8 hours
Day 11: Hike up to Kalapatthar (5545m) and trek down to Pheriche (4200m): 7 hours

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representatives from Active Everest Treks will receive you in Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and pre-trip meeting
Today, you will have a full day guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. You will visit the Pashupatinath (the Holiest Temple of Lord Shiva), Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Bauddhanath (one of the oldest and largest Buddhist Monastery) and Kathmandu Durbar Square among others. Many of the sites are cited as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. You will also have a pre-trip meeting for the necessary preparation today. You stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m) and trek to Phakding (2610m): 3 hours
We today catch our scenic morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. The flight will take around 35 minutes to reach Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla. Upon arrival at the Lukla Airpot, our guides will brief you and introduce with our porters before we begin our trek to Phakding. Then, we start trekking to Phakding and it takes approx. 3 hours to reach there. We stay overnight at guesthouse in Phakding. 

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441m): 5 hours
Today, we continue trekking along the banks of Dudh Koshi crossing the majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. We then enter into Sagarmatha National Park from where our trail climbs steeply with amazing views. We eventually reach at Namche which is the Gateway to Everest. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 05: Rest and Acclimatization day at Namche
Today, we will spend a day in Namche for proper acclimatization in high altitude. We will be exploring the museum and then hike up to Syangboche around Everest View Hotel. And from here, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 06: Trek from Namche to Tyangboche Monastery (3860m): 5 hours
Our trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of mountains. On reaching Tyanboche we will see the local monastery at the altitude of 3860m. We will also observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 07: Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4350m): 6 hours
Our trail drops to Debuche from Tengboche and crosses another exciting suspension bridge on Imja Khola. We also climb to Pangboche among thousands of Mani stones. We will be our uphill trekking which takes us to the traditional Sherpa Village of Dingboche. From Dingboche, we can witness the exquisite views of Lhotse, Amadablam and Island Peak. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 08: Hike to Chhukung Valley (4710m) and return back to Dingboche: 4 hours
Today, you can enjoy another day for acclimatization. We will hike to Chhukung village through Imja Khola valley for observing the marvelous view of surrounding mountains especially Lhotse. We then return to Dingboche by the evening. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m): 5 hours
We today continue our trek along the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier and then pass by the stone memorials for climbers who have perished during the expedition in summits nearby. We then continue to climb to Lobuche where we can witness the beautiful view of Lobuche Peak. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5365m) and back to Gorakshep: 8 hours
Today is going to be another big and difficult day trek along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp. You can get the closest view of Mount Everest from Khumbu Glacier and EBC. The view of Khumbu Glacier from EBC is awesome. We then return back to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

Day 11: Hike up to Kalapatthar (5545m) and trek down to Pheriche (4200m): 7 hours
Well, today will be one of the most difficult yet rewarding treks our EBC trek. Early in the morning, we spend time climbing the best vantage point of Kalapatthar. However the climb is demanding but you will get the amazing mountain panorama from Kalapatthar. We then, return back to Gokakshep and then trek down to Pheriche. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3441m): 6 hours
We take a slightly different route down to Orsho from Pheriche. We then trek to Pangboche where there is the oldest monastery in the region which is said to contain the scalp and bones of abominable snowman, Yeti. Leaving the Tyangboche Monastery, we finally reach at Namche again. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 13: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2804m): 6 hours 
We finally return to Lukla where the trek began. We stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 14: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Today, we fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla. In the remaining time, you can take your time to explore the Kathmandu city. And in the evening, we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances. You stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Final Departure
Today, your Nepal trip concludes and our representatives will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your returning home flight.
